    Have used the new E Consult system twice this week, once for a medical matter and once for an admin matter. Both times the response was swift and appropriate . This system is brilliant for the patient - no more long waits on the phone, and better for staff who can deal with non urgent things in their own time. This is also better for people who really do need to be seen on the day, as there will be fewer people jamming up the lines for non-urgent issues.

    Only 5th in the queue when i phoned, helpful and polite receptionist who said a gp would phone later in the day, which they did. This resulted in a Face to Face appointment the same day with a thorough assessment of my needs and referral for further tests which are ongoing. Doctor who referred me phoned me with test results when they arrived and explained next steps. Can't fault the experience I had on this occasion.

    I rang in the morning and was told a doctor would ring after 2pm. Not long after 2pm I had a call and by 3:30pm I was in a face to face appointment. I was put at ease and was listened to.

    Staff from reception, nurses, paramedics GP have all bent over backwards to help with care plan for my 87 yr old mum. None are disrespectful even though she has been cantacourous in the past and suffering now with dementia

    The doctors might be good but it is impossible to get anyone to answer the phone. Can someone in the Surgery take this shortcoming seriously. It has been going on for at least 5 years

    On many occasions I have been waiting for my call to be answered upto 41 minutes, if I need to have the GP call me back it's roughly another day gone. Receptionists are very understanding apologetic , and caring.

    I have had to phone a number of times over the last month. Usually because I am assured someone will call back about an appointment they are due to arrange for me, but then they never do. When I phone the surgery, I am waiting over an hour for the call to be answered. The wait of over an hour has happened 3 times now in the last month. Reading other reviews online, it seems I am far from alone with this issue.

    The care my husband and I receive from the health centre is second to none. We have both needed considerable support from the doctors for some time and it is always there - without fail. We have always received a call back from a doctor the same day when the issue has been urgent, and GPs have always made time to see us if necessary. Additionally, the support available at the Health Centre from the Well-being Team, including the mental health nurse and social prescriber, has literally been a 'life saver' for me. I was unaware until recently that this service even existed. Both my husband and I have received telephone calls from G Ps and support staff far later in the day than we would have expected, for which we were very grateful. Everyone at the practice, from the reception staff - to the G Ps, nurses and other support staff are extremely helpful, kind and supportive. The end result being, we feel incredibly well-looked after by a professional and dedicated team of professionals. The difficulty in getting through on the telephone applies at most G P surgeries. This is not a particular failing of Bradford on Avon & Melksham Health Partnership. It is a sign of a practice which is in demand by many. In my view, it pays to be a 'patient patient' and wait in the queue, when you will be answered courteously. (We can only speak from personal experience). We feel we are extremely lucky to have access to such wonderful healthcare locally. We have expressed our appreciation directly to Bradford On Avon & Melksham Health Partnership, whilst preferring to remain anonymous on this public site. Long may the 5 star service continue!

    Was asked to call the surgery back, therefore assume of some importance. Called switchboard at 13.30 "I was second in the queue, my call is important" 14.05 still no response, music and a few "Your call is Important to us". Well, that's 32 minutes I won't get back. In an automated world rather than play "music" why not programme the system after a set time to ask patients (and we are patients) to call back at a time or leave a number. Really really poor.

    I have needed to contact and/or attend the surgery a number of times over the last weeks. The medical support I have received has been outstanding. This has been further helped by the positive and cheerful demeanor of all the staff I have met consisting of administrative staff, nurses and doctors. This is of particular note considering the pressures they are all experiencing and, what I perceive to be, absence of help and support for them from our Government.
