    On two occasions in the last month. Prescriptions have been issued at an appointment, only to not be 'signed off' at the time of the appointment which has meant a great deal of back and forth between the pharmacy and the surgery. It would be great if when prescriptions are issued they could be completed or we are informed when they will be ready.

    I went to request a repeat prescription but the site has changed,so i had to do it by phoning,Why.I have tried to e-mail Bowburn Surgery and again no luck.I am a 63 year old male,i was not brought up with all of this technology,so why do you make it so difficult.I am angry and frustrated.Why do you put me through it i am stressed and disheartened.

    Thank you for your feedback Mr Steel. I am sorry to learn that you have encountered some difficulties which have left you feeling frustrated and disheartened. We have not made any changes to the System1 website, although there was the introduction of the NHS app and there were some changes to the website. We are always happy to hear feedback from our patients, and if you are still encountering issues please do let the reception team know, they will be happy to help resolve this for you. We have introduced the telephone voicemail ordering line which we hope patients find helpful. If you prefer telephone over the app, please call the surgery and select the repeat prescription option. You will be asked to leave a voicemail of your request. This will be processed by the reception team who will contact you if they have any queries. Thank you again for your feedback.
