Very happy with the service which me and my family receive at the practice on a consistent basis. The doctors are very nice and helpful and the admin team always try to help patients as much as possible. A big thank-you to the whole practice and i would recommend to others. Many Thanks

  2. Review titled Worst GP Ever

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 March 2023

Never get an app, every morning at 10am I’m on the phone waiting to make an appointment, after waiting in the line over an hour line cut off, when I call back and waited again over an hour just to know they don’t have an appointment. I wish Doctors or management should take those in investigations, surely something wrong , it can not be right . Far worse then anyone can imagine how poor this GP is , I wish I have never join them .

  3. Review titled Late telephone call by doctor. Waiting time on call to gp.

Rated 3 stars out of 5

    by W.M. - Posted on 23 February 2023

Usually I receive calls on time but this time waiting time was more than 2 hours I had a telephonic appt at 9.20 am but I didn't receive call till 11.00 pm so I called the gp reception and I was in queue no 4 and until 21 min I was still on No 4. I hanged up and tried again but then I was on No 5 and kept on hold for another 29 min until I spoke to a receptionist. I complained her that I had been waiting since 9.00 am as we had to ready b4 appt time because dr can call anytime. She told me that the doctor tried but I was not available. I mentioned her that I kept both of my landline and mobile phones with me. At last I received the call at 12.07 pm When I checked my voicemail there was a call from gp while I was on hold. And now I checked my gp records it was note from the doctor that she called me but there was no response from my side. This upsets me a lot that I had to wait for 3 hours for the call and blame was also given to me for not giving any response.

Dear WM I am sorry that you was contacted late for your appointment, we try to give an average contact time of 1 hour either side of the appointment time, but unfortunately there are occasions when this is not possible. As practice protocol, if there is no answer when clinicians try to make contact they will leave a note. This is not to pass blame but to record that an attempt was made. In regards to waiting in the queue, I am sorry that you had to wait but again some calls take longer than others to manage which can lead to increased waiting times for others in the queue. As you have mentioned, you are usually contacted on time, I am sorry that you were not on this occasion, it is not our intention to keep patients waiting. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will discuss this in our practice meeting.

Dear Mrs Mohamed I am sorry for your experience. I believe your appointment was booked online, there is a message that explains patients should expect a call approximately 1 hour either side of their appointment time, and I can see that the doctor called you within this time frame. Unfortunately we cannot give an exact time as clinicians are dealing with many different types of queries and some may take longer than others to deal with. It is not the clinician's intention to keep any patient waiting. I am sorry for the confused explanation regarding calling you from the receptionist, at least 2 attempts are made to contact all patients with booked telephone appointments. I will speak to all staff so that we can all learn from this. Thank you

  5. Review titled Worst practice in the whole country

Rated 1 star out of 5

Booking an appointment is by far the most impossible thing ever. I've had an infection for 2 weeks now, and been trying to get into contact for the past 3 days with probably 30+ calls. None have gone through. I either wait in the queue from the 10th position, get to about the 3rd, and am hung up on. If I do get to the 1st, I wait for 20 minutes without any idea if there's actually anyone on the other end of the line before giving up, redialling, and being 30th+. I have also requested a callback multiple times. Every single time, my phone rings for a second or two, I pick up, and I'm hung up on before I can say hello. When I called to ask what was going on and why this was happening, I got told that the person "doesn't know". My question then is who does??? If I don't know and they don't know why the service is so appalling then who does??? Maybe they can give some pointers. I've seriously just burst into tears because of how frustrating this all is. My throat hurts so badly I can't talk at all, I can't work, I can barely eat and drink. I need help. And this practice won't give it

Dear patient, I am very sorry for your experience, we offer a range of services to patients including referring to the pharmacy in the first instance for certain conditions. Pharmacists are trained and are able to offer advice and treatment to patients and know when to escalate to the GP. We also have online consultations, where you can fill out a form and submit it to the surgery, this will be reviewed within 48 working hours. Furthermore, if you do not have it already, by having online access you are able to book appointments without needing to call the surgery. There are also Enhanced Access appointments available at evening and weekends, appointments can be booked by calling 02038397513. This information is explained while waiting in the queue when calling the surgery, however, we will ensure that all staff are reminded to give all options to patients in future. If you contact us directly we can look into the issues you have been having when calling the practice. Thank you

  6. Review titled Rude receptionist

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Crina Paraluta - Posted on 22 November 2022

I was called today 22/11/2022 at around 17.30, by a receptionist, who in a very rude and abrupt manner told me I am due a certain test. As I understand this is their job, and if they are stressed they should not be rude to the patients. I can see ,from other reviews, that I am not the only one who has the same problem, so maybe it is time to do something about it. She then gave a date for the test, without asking if it is convenient for me or not. I tried to explain that I wasn't sure about that date and she then said goodbye in the same rushed and rude manner. I feel sorry for those patients who out of necessity must interact with these people more often. Thank you.
