  2. Review titled Dismissive GP

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I decided to get something checked out that I was worried about. This particular GP was cold and uncaring and made me feel like I was wasting her time. I felt terrible when I left. This is not the first time this has happened. I can see why patients put off seeing a GP when this is how you are treated. There are other GPs at this practice that are very good but you are told when booking you must see your allocated GP or you are challenged as to why you want to see someone else. This needs to be reviewed.

  3. Review titled Quick and efficient appointment process

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Submitted a request using the online system after lunch on a Friday and I had a reply within 2 hours telling me and apointment had been booked for an out of hours doctor the following day. Very efficient and makes it easier knowing I don’t have to wait on the phone and is more convenient. Also got straight through on the phone to book nasal flu for so and got an appointment within a few days . Would highly recconmend and have never had any issues.

  4. Review titled Rude reception staff

Rated 1 star out of 5

I contacted the surgery to request an emergency prescription as i had travelled to a town over 4 hours away and accidentally left my medication at home - medication that is imperative that i take daily and do not miss a dose. The first lady that i spoke to was actually very helpful. She arranged to ask the doctor to prescribe me an emergency amount of my medication to be sent to a pharmacy that was in the town i was staying in. She asked me to call back at the end of the day to confirm it had been done. I did call back at the end of the day and was met with an incredibly rude, incompetent and obstructive woman who told me, and i quote, that i would need to collect it from my nominated pharmacy, which is over 4 hours away by train. When i queried this she was very nonchalent and came across like she really couldn't care less. I do appreciate that there was nothing she could personally do to resolve the error, and that the error was not her fault, but I'm a firm believer in it's not what you say but how you say it and she was flat out rude. There was no apology, no suggestion on how i could resolve the issue, just "well it's at your nominated pharmacy so you'll have to get it from there". I will be making a formal complaint because at the very least this woman needs some training in customer care.
