    tried phoning this morning for an appointment, to have answer machine now tel me i have to re-register. Thought i would hang to find deathly silence at the other end of the phone. this surgery has decade over time from doctors that don't read your e-consultant notes to now not answering the phone. NHS is on the way out and we have to pay for this totally outrageous.

    We live in Bitterne Park and wish to be seen at Bitterne Park Surgery. We can get an appointment to see a nurse, although there can be several weeks to wait. I have just made one for 3 weeks time. My husband needs to be seen by a GP, he is elderly and we have no transport. It takes an hour from here to get to Weston Lane involving two buses. We have been told there are no GP appointments available at Bitterne Park in the next week, but one has been requested. If he gets worse in the meantime, call 111. I would not recommend this practice under any circumstances.

    The nurse I saw today to re do my dressing was superb. Yesterday's dressing was not holding and she replaced it and it feels much more secure leaving me feeling much better, as my confidence is shot away right now.
