Called in to practice room by nurse lorraine every thing was explained clearly.throughout the appointment the nurse stopped many times to check I was comfortable to carry on .Extremely pleased to have been offered this treatment

I need an appoint. I phone for an appointment at 8.31, I’m number 42. I try throughout the morning getting nowhere. On the same day I turn up at the surgery to get an appointment. I’m told I have to phone on the day or queue up at 8am. I explain it’s a follow up but I have recently been seen by Out Of Hours service who gave me antibiotics but told me to go to my GP for a urine test. Reception told me “If things are that bad ring 111 or go to walk in”. I am so frustrated by this surgery and by the attitude of some of the reception staff. There are some good doctors and nurses at this practice that are let down by poor process and some frontline staff.

I called today and spent over 90 minutes on the phone waiting to speak to a receptionist. When I called I was number 9 in the queue. However the practice probably closed after this 90 minutes and no one took my call. This is really frustrating! They should at least take all the calls! This is not the first time this has happened! I really like the GP but the phone service to actually see the GP is horrible!!!!!

My second visit this month to Bilton Green Surgery, this time for a Shingles jab’, having previously had my Flu ‘jab’. Different receptionist, different nurse administering the jab, but same great service. Both ladies were very professional, very efficient and totally focussed towards the needs of the patient, I.e me. I hate having injections, but thank you Bilton Green Surgery, I will certainly be getting my Flu jab next year.
