    I've been trying for 2 weeks to get a appt via patches .forget that. I went on at 7.01am and was fully booked .it opened at 7am .so went up dugery they told me book via patches .I told them not got Internet at home so they filled in a review for me .48 hrs later still no reply from surgery. I give up .

    Thank you for submitting this feedback. We are sorry to hear you are having difficulties with accessing PATCHS forms, we are always reviewing our systems and how we can adapt to improve our service. We are currently reviewing how we can manage capacity to enable us to release more forms and will be updating patients in the near future of coming changes. Our staff are there to help those patients who genuinely cannot access the internet or are unable to complete a form themselves. All forms are triaged by a clinician, if your request is triaged as non-urgent replies can take up to 3 working days. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, please contact the surgery and ask to speak or meet with one of our Care Coordination Managers. Kind regards BMC

    having tried for aprox 8 times to book an appt via patches i went to face to face with a receptionist, 15 min queue, got an appt next day. patches does not work,more like patchy, system open 11 am, at 1101 no bookings possible, a shambles at this surgery or the system they have bought into is not capable, I would not recomend the practice to my worst enemy, public bp machine for medical records,no apparent infection control, no privacy,and a little piece of paper for the receptionist to enter for the patients records, where is the patient confidentiality in that.

    Dear Paul, Thank you for submitting this feedback. We are sorry you are having difficulty with accessing forms within PATCHS. We are constantly reviewing how we work in order to improve our services. PATCHS capacity is set each day depending on how many clinicians are working, the forms submitted are reviewed and triaged by a clinician to ensure our patients are seen by the right person first time. We would encourage you to attend the Practice and speak with our Care Coordination Managers who would be happy to go through any concerns with you. We would like to reassure you that all the machines within the waiting areas are regularly cleaned down additionally, antibacterial wipes are provided next to the machines for patient use.     The Doctor I saw today has phoned me twice to ensure I understood the procedure they were going to perform. While having the procedure we had to wait as my body involuntarily reacted and we had to wait. Quite an undignified wait but the doctor and nurse were excellent keeping me at ease and ensuring I knew what was happening at all times Excellent care

    Saw my child same day, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The doctor that saw us was prompt, thorough and kind. Felt very well looked after. Thank you.

    I've been trying to contact Beccles Medical centre in the early afternoon with a query for several days but always no slots on PATCHs. Tried this morning at 8.10, website said new slots at 9am. Slots appeared at 9am but by the time I had logged in all gone by 9.01 and message to try at 11am. Tried at 11.02 and all slots gone with message to contact them from 7am tomorrow. This is hopeless. Having worked in the veterinary profession suffering similar pressures with demand and staffing, we made it a priority for our practice to be contactable. Right now, I feel like I'm coming up against a brick wall trying to get in touch with my medical practice

    Dear Alison, Thank you so much for providing your feedback. Please note that the slots for medical advice are capped based on clinical availability. Admin requests (practice nurse appointments, general enquiries etc.) and medication requests are available 7am - 7pm. We offer forms for advice from clinical staff at 4 different times throughout the day. If you have an urgent enquiry you can call us and seek advice from Care Navigator.     I visited the practice yesterday morning as a pharmacist suggested I had a infection in my sinuses. An appointment was given to me for the afternoon. Great service thanks.

    Just tried logging on to fill in usual form and find it no longer exists. Patchs has taken over with no notification, and now struggling to find my way round. I have got to set my registration up again with new passwords. Hopeless!

We tried to reach as many of our patients as possible to notify them of the system change including posters, social media posts and patient leaflets. We are sorry these did not reach you. If you are having difficulties with PATCHs we would encourage you to attend the Practice and speak with staff, we have dedicated staff who will be able to sit with you and go through the new system with you personally to help with understanding.     I cannot fault the lady answering the phones, very kinda and caring (took over an hour and a half to get through tho) .... The doctor on the other hand not so much. The online system did get me to a doctor but I still didn't get a diagnosis nor any help and was just told to live with it until my next hospital appointment (5days away).... If not go to A&E! Passing blood in my urine, intense pain etc but basically not an infection so they can't be bother to even talk to me. Disappointed and in pain.. Not sure where to turn now

    Called the surgery this morning (Tuesday) and waited 58 minutes in the telephone queue. It got to "you are the next call", and cut me off. Went online to use the call back request form system and the website forms are closed due to a "change in provider". Called back. Another 48 mins. Eventually get to speak to a receptionist. Told that "nothing can be done", to go online, on Thursday. Register on the new system. Submit a form. And then wait. How broken is this practice? The absolute indifference to a patient's pain is staggering. Sadly I have little option to change surgery due to my location, so in future I will have to be more aware of the surgery's technology issues when thinking about requiring a Dr and medication.

    Dear Anon, The last two years has seen a monumental rise in demand on our services, this has not just impacted our community but our staff resilience too. We have been working over the last year to consider a sleeker, more effective system that ensures patients are triaged more effectively and their issues resolved quicker - right person, right place, right time. We have been advertising this new service on our social media and website over the previous weeks and it went live on the 4th November, from your message it appears you may have got caught up in the 'just before' where our website was down in order to process everything before we went live. This is a new service and we really believe that this will help our patients access BMC more efficiently, we genuinely do understand your frustrations, hear them and want to resolve them. We are not indifferent to your concern and our patients care always remains a high priority at BMC. We sincerely hope that the new IT system will be much more beneficial for you and you can see the difference in response and waiting times. Our team are working very hard to see everyone as quickly, as safely and as appropriately as possible. Please give us time for the system to embed and then feel free to let us know if you still feel the same way about the IT service. Many thanks, BMC
