    I visited the surgery today for microsuction to my (very blocked) ears. Having had them checked about 3 weeks ago I did have to wait awhile, but this was expected. The nurse was very efficient and pleasant, and also administered a vaccination that was due, to save me making a separate appointment. Excellent service, thank you!

    I rang the surgery yesterday to request a face to face consultation. There were no appointments available, so was offered an appointment early this morning, which I was happy with. The doctor was very helpful and understanding (although not feeling well himself), and made me feel at ease and not at all a nuisance for requesting a face to face consultation. His careful diagnosis greatly relieved my anxiety. Many thanks to everyone at the surgery. We are very lucky to have you!

    This occurred this morning. I have a morphine patch and I change it weekly. This morning I wasn't able to as my surgery the barn had sent the wrong product description upto Rowland pharmacy. Rang surgery and the telephonist said they could see that wrong product was issued. Plus they informed me they would put a new one into Rowlands when I was on phone. Or so I thought Nothing had arrived by 4pm so I rang Rowlands pharmacy. To be told they hadn't had it from the surgery yet. Lady in Rowlands kindly rang the surgery to get told by someone it would be signed ASAP and sent up to them. She kindly rang back to tell me the situation. Well I've still not received I'm in intense discomfort and distress due to needed the patch as part of my weekly treatment. I feel that the barn have let me down big time as they know the situation Maybe some more in house training is needed as I feel like I've been lied to aswell as left in severe stress . Normally I praise the barn but this had to be said . Please sort your staff out to stop the lying to patients. Straight answers count more in my eyes

    A gem of a Practice. Wish for the NHS they were all like this one. They obviously set very high standards in their selection process of any Staff appointed and any additional training given and it shows. It's not "just a job" or "paying the bills" for any person there I have had the pleasure to meet as a patient. Thank you.

    I just want to record my appreciation of the care and support that this Surgery with its doctors nurse's and staff give you could not wish for better thank you, when we moved from the witterings we had concern over finding a surgery to compare with what we had, but I must say in every respect we have, so again on behalf of my self and my wife thanks to the team at the barn.

    What a shame that a previously wonderful practice seems to have reverted to a bygone era of GP surgeries where everything seems to be made as difficult as possible for the patient, starting with a reception team containing some who are clearly unsuitable for the role. It shouldn't feel like running a gauntlet to get to speak to / see your GP and resolve simple administration requests, but unfortunately that's how it's been for a while now. COVID can't be a reason for everything. There are still some great personnel, but they seem to be fewer than before. Maybe others had enough of the frustration of dealing with the way of doing things there and left. Hopefully they will be able to reverse the decline and sooner rather than later.
