  1. Review titled Great service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Ian - Posted on 10 April 2024

The practice nurse was extremely helpful and attentive in reviewing my symptoms and a face to face appointment was offered within 24 hours of me submitting my request to see a nurse. Follow up tests were scheduled within weeks of my initial consultation.

  2. Review titled Very poor receptionist attitude

Rated 1 star out of 5

I was waiting to collect my wife and could not fail to witness the rudeness to the point of obstructiveness on the part of the receptionist, who blatantly answered simple questions in a manner to make the waiting patient feel small or stupid. When my wife arrived from her consultation to enquire about a blood test required by the doctor the receptionist made it seem like the arrangement was tiresome and remarked that there probably wouldn't be (blood test) slots at the surgery for ten days ( there was one almost immediately), and generally making my wife feel more uncomfortable than when she had gone for the appointment

  3. Review titled Excellent GP practice with continued improving services

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Had a routine HRT review with my GP today which was via an online questionnaire. Normally I request an appointment, and then go through a set of questions with the GP face to face or via a call to establish if there are any issues, there are usually none, at which point I get my HRT meds prescribed. Today this step was via an online questionnaire which resulted in an immediate prescription to my pharmacy. If there were any issues, the next step would have been an appointment with the GP. ,I thought this was great for straightforward cases with no issues, and saved so much time, a great new process Ashley Centre !

  5. Review titled Really helpful

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by James Chapman - Posted on 25 March 2024

I needed to rearrange my physiotherapist appointment today at regrettably short notice. The lady behind reception was extremely helpful and managed to secure me a date that suited me perfectly. This is top of the original ally being made within two hours of me submitting the form originally. Great service! Thank you!

  7. Review titled Very helpful receptionist

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Phoned with a query regarding the need for more ointment after visit to Leatherhead Hospital, ointment not on my repeat prescription. Receptionist took details, spoke to duty doctor and arranged a prescription to be sent to pharmacy. An amazing service, thankyou to the lady receptionist who restored my faith in the surgery.

  8. Review titled Great diabetic care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Emma - Posted on 06 November 2023

I was diagnosed with insulin dependent diabetes last year. It was quite a shock and the NHS emergency system, really let me down. The specialised diabetic nurse at Ashley Centre was brilliant. She explained my diabetic care path and assisted me through the process. Always being attentive and caring. Thank you, a great example of patient centred care.

  9. Review titled Getting through on phones=awful

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 March 2023

On a Tuesday afternoon I spent 1hr 5 mins in a queue waiting to get through to reception. For 40 mins I was first in the queue. Incredibly frustrating. When you get through to staff I always find them helpful and doctors in my experience are brilliant. The phone service totally let's the practice down though and if not improved will force me to change practice unfortunately.

  10. Review titled Frustrating and no appointments

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 04 January 2023

I am new to the practice. I continually get texts on my phone asking me to take part in surveys. My phone is not Wi-Fi so I can’t. I have a tablet for emails but reception ignore my requests for email, so I can’t win. Have struggled to try to get app but still unable to use. I get confused and find this upsetting. No appointments at all. I recently had a chest infection and had to go to 111 for help getting a call back for antibiotic. Very frustrating and not user friendly.
