I am very disappointed about the service by the reception. On Tuesday, 30.04.2024, we called the surgery to get an appointment for my daughter after being referred by 111. We called about 10 times throughout the morning each time the call was in a queue and after waiting for around 40 minutes they would disconnect the call. In the end we had to give up. This is really disgusting and disappointing. The receptionist needs to be retrained they are the first contact of patients and should not disconnect calls. We had to give up in the end, but had to call again today as there has been no improvement in my daughters symptoms. This tim called at 8.00 and luckily got through and told the receptionist about the experience of Tuesday and he just ignored that conversation.

My recent experiences with Arnos Grove Health Center have left me deeply disappointed and concerned about the quality of care and communication provided by this establishment. As a patient who values efficient communication and quality healthcare services, I feel compelled to share my grievances in this concise review. Lack of Communication: One of the most glaring issues I encountered during my interactions with Arnos Grove Health Center was the persistent lack of communication channels. The main telephone line being down for an extended period has caused immense inconvenience and frustration. Patients rely on this primary communication channel to access important medical assistance and information, yet the ongoing issues with the telephone line hindered my ability to reach out for help when needed. Neglect of Patient Care: Equally troubling is the apparent neglect of patient care demonstrated by Arnos Grove Health Center. Despite utilizing the online service, Patient Triage, to seek medical advice regarding my health concerns, I received no response after over 72 hours. This prolonged delay in response is not only unacceptable but also reflects poorly on the commitment to patient care and wellbeing. Patients rely on timely access to medical advice and assistance, and the failure to provide timely responses can have serious implications for their health.

In the meantime please do look out for updates on our website with regards to the phone issue which is out of our control and has been escalated to the phone provider to investigate. Submitted a patient triage form. It says you will hear from them in 48 hours. Two weeks later I haven't heard anything. Tried to phone today to find out why I hadn't heard anything and was on hold for over 30 minutes and then just cut off. I tried to phone back but the automated message said the surgery was now closed as the opening hours are 8am - 6.30pm. It was 5.10pm.

I went to the surgery just as it was closing, with my poorly son. The doctor came out of his car, examined my son and prescribed him the necessary medicine. The receptionists and doctors in this practice are always professional, accommodating and go above and beyond to help their patients. We feel blessed to be registered with Arnps Grove Medical Centre. Thank you to the whole team.
