The Doctor I saw it felt like she was rushing me and wasn't really listening I felt like I wasted my time trying to get help.

This afternoon I attended a consultation with the practice pharmacist to review my mother's medications. She was very thorough and informative. She explained everything very clearly to my mother (91). Her manners was pleasant, helpful and caring, and mum and I both benefitted from the meeting.

I am a type 1 diabetic who managed through lack of planning and compounded by Easter holidays, was going to run out of insulin within 3 days. The very kind professional managed to get me an urgent telephone consultation with the doctor who facilitated a prescription within 2 hours of me reaching out to Archwood Practice in Woodley. Given that I would have been in a real pickle without insulin this urgent service keeps me in a good spot. Thanks for helping and also following up to make sure everything got sorted. Tremendous!

I had a bit of an issue with a prescription as the pharmacy I went to no longer had the ointment in stock. With work I didn’t have time to be driving all over for it so called the practice. The lovely receptionist I spoke to went above and beyond calling some other pharmacies managing to locate one which had a cream instead of an ointment. She asked the doctor to amend the prescription and it was all sorted within less than an hour of my initial call to the practice. To me this was above and beyond what was required and I was extremely grateful.

I had an immediate health concern of a personal nature that required a fairly urgent appointment on a Monday morning. Sure enough, after calling at 8.00am I was given an appointment at 9.20am. The Doctor who saw me was professional, kind and good humoured about the matter, and after examining me, was able to describe my condition in detail, and reassure me that there was nothing to be overly worried about. In short, I received great service, and great care, from a great surgery.

I changed to Archwood about 3yrs ago. Great practice, the Doctors always help with any issues/illness myself or my son have. The Reception staff are helpful and caring too. I would recommend this practice if you live in the area. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

So easy to make appointments online and you send it and the day after they book you in for that day or the next. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the doctors and they care and listen. I have never ever had an issue waiting longer than 2 days for an appointment and I am young and in good health. I always get one so quickly. The receptionists are also really helpful and have sorted so much for me over the phone quickly and effectively. The covid booster at Christmas was also perfectly run by the nurses and other staff. I have been at other practices locally which are diabolical in service so thank you!
