    On behalf of my elderly Mum, who would like to say thank you for her excellent care. She recently needed an extraction and a follow up appointment. The follow up was booked immediately and and the lovely receptionist made her feel like nothing was too much trouble and her dentist really took the time to explain what the issues and options were and really listened when Mum wanted to talk it through. When Mum contacted the practice to say she was in pain, they slotted her in at once and she would like to pass her thanks on to all the staff.

    Called to register my children (as they have opened up to accept children on NHS), phone was answered quickly, and polite receptionist took the details efficiently and offered a routine check up there and then. No issues - Thank you

    Appointments get cancelled all the time so treatment for one tooth has taken over a year and what was a simple filling then turned into root canal and then crown. Due to the time from appointments cancelled this has resulted in payment for more than 2 checkups, a root canal and also a crown on top. This was due to 2 of the cancelled appointments for the tooth being before a pre booked checkup. Shocking service. I'd move to another practice on a payment plan but am stuck in the loop of needing this sorted before moving.

    Appointments for my children and I have been cancelled and postponed several times now, meaning one of my children will not have seen a dentist for well over a year. Receptionist made no apology for the inconvenience and had no knowledge of school holidays to try and help with rebooking. Explained away lack of text reminders with practice’s systems not being ‘perfect’. As a busy working mum, I have accidentally missed one appointment in approx twenty years and their system for chasing and chastising worked perfectly. The requested call back from the practice manager was not at the time I requested so I could not answer as I was teaching. Very little consistency of personnel. Very little patient care. Feels run as a business rather than a surgery. Private patients (my husband is one) given preferential treatment and more experienced dental staff, but even he finds getting an appointment difficult. Would leave if we could find NHS places closer to home. Saddens me.

    I have called the practice 18 times since 8.30 am this morning all I ge is a recorded message and hang up. Absolutely ridiculous. If I don't show up on Monday.. I tried!

    This dentist never answers the phone. Called 11 times in a 9 day period with a 100% non-answer rate. Shambolic.
