    Had a scale and polish and received really good advice as to how to look after my teeth in the future. Never had anyone explain so patiently or in as much depth, before, so I really appreciated the advice.

    Just had three fillings done and was treated with the utmost patience, understanding and informed every step of the way. Have a complete dental phobia stemming from a very nasty experience as a child and had nearly worked myself up into heart attack mode (how silly for three fillings I know). The Hygienist who did my fillings should have been my Fairy Godmother all those years ago. Put me completely at ease, explained everything quite patiently and did an outstanding, fantastic job of my teeth - thank you so much.

    After booking a NHS appointment online I was told that I could not have that anymore but could have a private one. I rang a week before and explained the tooth problem and they never said anything about this and that the appointment would be able to go ahead but I couldn’t have an extended one.

    Hello Kieran, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with the service at our practice, we appreciate all feedback and hope we can learn from this. Unfortunately when you arrived for your appointment you had booked it under a different name which is why we couldn't initially see that you had been removed from out NHS waiting list due to the fact that you hadn't been to our practice in over two years despite us being open and seeing patients, you also arrived 10 minutes late for the appointment. We gave you the opportunity to to either rebook as a private patient or put your name down on our NHS waiting list. We are currently working 6 days a week to try and accommodate more NHS patients. If this is something you would like to do please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be more than happy to help.

    I've been to this dentist since a young child, yet they took me off their NHS patient list because I'd not been in for a while. My health conditions have prevented me leaving the house and i live off Universal Credit & PIP. I also have 2 young children. We cannot find an NHS dentist. We only want a check up, but I suspect my 2 children may need braces. I'm so upset.

    Dear patient, Thank you very much for your feedback. We are very sorry,for the inconvenience. Unfortunately,if patient had not been for regular checkups for few years,the system automatically marked as not active. However,we are working extremely hard (6 days a week) and I hope soon we will be able to offer you a Nhs space in our practice! Kind regards Wardandallison dental clinic
