I lost a crown after 8 months of being fitted so i rang for an appointment but with my holiday / work comments and the dentist being on holiday, it took a further 4 months to get an appointment ( the dentist works 3 days a week so harder to get an appointment) but then was told, 12 months has passed so you’ll have to pay another £660 - why hasn’t the dentist receptionist recorded my phone call requesting an appointment, not happy when you go private and pay the extra for what?

My dentist explained what he was going to do and cared about how I was feeling and talked about adding teeth to my denture

Although I was expecting a root canal procedure, it was not done . I was impressed by the thorough explanation of the reasoning and what Treatment May be needed if the problem reoccurred

The Dentist was very reassuring and explained every step of the procedure & checked frequently to make sure I was comfortable.

I had an appointment for a general check up last week. I asked the dentist if she could clean my teeth but she said i didn't need it. I was dissapointed that a clean is no longer a general thing on the band 1 NHS option. The dentist then took an xray, she didn't ask me of my medical history or anything. The dentist was on her own in the room, her assistant was in and out of the room and at one point listening to something on loud speaker on his phone. The assistant was not actively involved in the process of my check up and the dentist and the assistant were whispering and arguing about some internal issues within the work place whilst i was laying on the chair. I found the experience very unprofessional and do not recommend this dental practise.

I arrived in time for my appointment, waited upstairs, 20mins passed but I wasn’t called. Went downstairs to check with reception, the staff said they my dentist was running late but I was next to be seen. 20mins later, one of the staff came up to me and said that she didn’t click me to say that I had arrived and that dentist was fully booked and would try and fit me in if she could. As I work, I couldn’t stay there all day!!! Not one of the 3 receptionists offered me another appointment and when I asked that when I came down to check if the dentist was running late, why didn’t she notice that I hadn’t been checked in. I don’t think she had looked at the system. I am very upset, I have been coming to this practice for years.

Great with the different ages of children (family of 5 with teenagers) - thorough checks incl an X-ray as check - really friendly and polite

From polite reception staff to the patient and very clear dentist and dental nurse, what to me would normally be a nervy experience becomes a calm one.
