Extremely impressed with him and this practice. The staff likewise, are also amazing. The receptionist is so knowledgeable and friendly as well as his dental assistant(sorry name not known). But it is a pleasure to go there now, with no fear of being hurt or refused extractions. I was overjoyed after 40 years to have the tooth removed. My very grateful thanks go to Helme.I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone wanting what I now refer to as a proper Dentist & Practice. Thank you so much. Christine b... I apologise for not using capital letters but for some reason it kept refusing my review with capitals in.

Had repair work completed today and am very happy with the outcome. The dentist kept me informed and took the time to discuss future work. All the staff are lovely and the clinic is run professionally and efficiently. I’ve been with them since they opened and I’m very grateful that they chose to open a clinic in Horwich having been without a dentist for years previously

Have been looking for a NHS dentist for months and finally got an appointment here for myself and 2 children. They refused to register my husband due to him having previously been a patient here. I have since come to learn from another dentist that this isn't right. I booked our appointment for myself and 2 children for the week after we returned from holiday. Unfortunately we were unable to fly home at the intended time due to the children getting chicken pox causing us to remain in Spain for an extra week. Iv emailed the practise several times explaining these extenuating circumstances and begging them to rearrange the appointments and they have ignored all my emails. Today after several attempts at contact they have responded saying they won't rearrange the appointments. I understand that under usual circumstances it's not fair for people not to attend appointments however there are sometimes circumstances that are beyond control and these things happen. Obviously we didn't intend to get stuck in Spain and miss the appointment and I think they are very unfair. They have also had weeks to get back to me and make me aware of there decision but instead they have ignored all contact

Sorry for the delay, your review was left as anonymous so it has taken time to investigate and find our records. Wasted surgery time when a patient fails to attend for the first appointment, especially after email reminders had been sent is one of the situations where staff can not offer further appointments. If you had called to cancel the appointment, that appointment time could have been given to another patient and you would have been able to book a further appointment. Unfortunately you did not take the time to email or call in and therefore the wasted surgery time has blocked your account from further appointments. A simple email would have suffices. Apologies for the inconvenience and all the best with your future dental provider.

As experiences can go 'at the dentist' I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. My dentist undertook a comprehensive examination and gave me clear recommendations as to what treatment I should have. Having accepted the treatment, the work he undertook was completed with the upmost care and professionalism. I'm really pleased with the work done and would not hesitate in recommending this practice.

I’ve been with The Smile Clinic since they opened and I am very happy with the service they provide. All of the staff, from receptionists through to hygienists and dentists, are friendly, kind and caring and any treatment I have received has been excellent and delivered promptly. Had some dental work in the form of caps done. The whole process was simple, quick, pain and discomfort free and as always all the staff were lovely. A very efficient appointment, I was in and out in twenty minutes.

I was very nervous coming to my appointment but the staff reassured me that it will be fine and it was .very polite people and very understanding of my anxiety .I would definitely recommend them .
