I’ve been going here for while and when I asked them for NHS treatment since I am a very low earning individual. I was told that they cannot do it and that they don’t have space for NHS patients despite the fact that I am already a patient here. It’s incredibly frustrating, and very unfair practice. Especially since I’ve been going there for so many years

This month was my first visit to the practice after new owners have taken over. Lots of construction work in progress but looking very smart. Whilst waiting for my appointment 4 patients all came out saying they had been recommended to see the hygienist. This is not NHS covered. All the patients were told there was a 6 months waiting list and cost approximately £50 to be paid up front. I was seen by a very nice dentist practitioner. They no longer clean your teeth on your check up visit. But I was recommended to see a hygienist to get my teeth cleaned - obviously as they no longer do this. Be aware this is a cost to the patient and most likely not necessary - just recommended because they no longer clean your teeth on your check up visit. As an NHS dentist practice I feel this is lacking the attention and client care given by the previous owners.

I was very wary of the takeover of the practice but I was so wrong. I'm a nervous patient but my fears were blown away and I have had nothing but fantastic treatment and care. My treatment is and again will be long and complicated but they keep me so well informed all the time, it helps with my nervousness They are modernising the practice and it's going to be so up-to-date, clean and very workable for everyone when it's completed. Would I recommend them - simply 100% no question.
