This morning i telephoned to ask if the practice was taking new NHS patients as the NHS website said it was.The young lady who answered the phone told me that the practice was not taking new patients i started to say politely that the NHS website said they were but before i could even finish what i was saying the receptionist put the phone down on me .We the public are asked to be polite and courteous to people working for the NHS the same should apply to how the staff treat members of the public on the telephone.

Dear patient, We are sorry to read your comments relating to our reception team and apologise for your experience. With regards to what is displayed on the NHS website, we do have a NHS contractual obligation to display that they are taking on new NHS patients, however new NHS appointment capacity may be limited and the number of new NHS patients available will vary. Me and my 16 month old visited today, and had a lovely experience in surgery 1.The dentist was very welcoming, really easy to talk too and was so good with my little girl. I was nervous to attend with such a young one that doesn’t have all her teeth, but wasn’t made to feel silly and she gave me some good advice on how to make brushing easier! We even left with a sticker and a glove balloon from the nurse which she loved. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Staff are always pleasant and friendly. Great with the kids which makes them feel at ease. The practise is always spotless.

Liked reminder messages. Friendly receptionist, quickly booked in. Dentist and nurse worked well together. Good explanation of problems and treatment. Reasonable prices. Used to hate going to dentist, but don't mind at all now.

A friendly and efficient service. Dentist very informative and friendly. I have been attending regularly for the past nine years and have nothing but praise for the practice in general.

I had my annual check up, but it didn't last very long. At my last appointment I was told this I might need a crown replacing but this was never mentioned this time.

I have been to this dental practice on three occasions. The staff are always friendly and helpful and in particular the hygienist was excellent.
