   I was in immense pain following a trip to my dentist and wanted a 2nd opinion on what she had done as I'd never experienced so much pain. I was recommended to try this surgery so I called them on Monday last week and explained the pain I was in. They arranged an appt for me on the Wednesday. On Tuesday, after a sleepless night caused by the pain in my mouth, I called in the hope I could be seen sooner and was so impressed that they invited me to come in that afternoon. Although I was advised I may not be seen straight away, I was only waiting for 10 minutes before my name was called. I was very emotional and crying in agony and the dentist, along with his dental nurse (is that the correct title?) were just amazing and took the time to calm me down and reassure me that he could help. It turned out I had a huge abscess, a bit of bone left in my jaw where my previous dentist had extracted a back tooth about 2 months ago, and, she had also put in a temp filling in a cracked tooth. Despite having patients waiting, the dentist managed to get rid of the abscess and also extracted the cracked tooth there and then. The pain was instantly gone. I was given clear details on what the next stage would be (arranging for a false tooth), how long it would take, what it would involve etc. Both the dentist and his assistant were unbelievably caring, gentle and patient with me. When I left, still crying like a fool, the woman on reception was ultra friendly and made sure that I was okay and when she came outside to hand me my paperwork (I was in such a state I'd walked out without it) she took the time to calm me down. I honestly have never experienced such kindness and genuine care at a dentist, they made me feel 'safe' and that in itself, was priceless. I cant thank the dentist, his assistant (I'm so sorry if that isn't your correct title) and the lovely girl on reception - I know you were wearing a name badge but in my state, I couldn't register your name and for that I apologise - enough. I am pain free and no longer googling "How to remove your own teeth!" I 100% recommend this practice and the wonderful team. Thank you, thank you, thank you xx Ps. So sorry for embarrassing myself by sobbing like a child !
