  1. Review titled Emergency appointment via 111

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Debbie McCabe - Posted on 03 May 2024

Had dental pain for 5 days caused by cracked molar. Could not get to see my own dentist. No appointments contacted 111. They could not get appoint Wed. Had to call again Thurs is no success with my dentist. Contacted them and given appointment Friday at Silver and Charlton. The dentist and dental nurse lovely. As were reception staff. I am currently a nhs patient. With another dentist. I was so impressed with the team. I would move if they were taking on nhs patients. Thank you for sorting my problem out 😊

  2. Review titled Poor Bedside manner

Rated 1 star out of 5

Visit the dentist as an emergency due to pain getting worse while waiting for a filling. I am a nervous patient this nothing new and have been for a while the dentist i seen had no bed side manner and did not talk to me in a nice way and just kept huffing and puffing and when i said something along the lines of do you meet a lot of nervous patients she said to often. She scraped the filling i had put on off and telling her i was nervous she just kept telling me off and she needed to do it and also said the only thing she could do was a filling however she did not advise as i would not be able to sit through the injection, (i have had teeth removed in the past so the injections are no issue and also the dentist shut at 5 so i felt usher out of the door as my appointment was qaurter past 4 however didnt get in until around 25 to 5. I dont think their was any plant to do the filling and the dentist kept huffing and puffing when i explained i was nervous i apologized a few times saying i was embarrassed and she just ignored my apology and walked off. I also explained my gums were giving me dicomfort to which she dismissed this and said their was nothing wrong and to just take 2 paracetamol. Overall no bedside manner at all, hopefully wont have to return. The ladies on reception were fantastic and informative.

  3. Review titled No longer an NHS Dentist

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been at the practice for several years. I recently received notification that they are ceasing NHS work and charging £15 per month for a private membership plan. This is extremely disappointing in the current economic climate. I will be looking for a new NHS Dentist.
