Waited over a month for an appointment. Drove from Eaglescliffe to Saltburn for appointment & due to traffic accident was less than 10 mins late. Spent 20 mins attempting to call to warn of lateness but phone line permanently busy. Eventually got through & was told to come in 2hrs time for next possible gap. Explained this was not a possibility (can’t take a whole half day off work for dentist) so was advised to come in anyway & the dentist would be informed id be slightly late. Arrived 8 mins after scheduled appointment & told the next patient already taken in so would have to rearrange or wait the 2 hrs for a gamble of another appointment slot, despite being told to continue the journey and attend the original appointment. Total waste of time, energy, altered work commitments & fuel. No apology. Horrendous experience.

After one year waiting list, been told they no longer take NHS patient. Does not take emergencies from outside patient

From reception who was amazing. Knew how nervous I was and kept me occupied Then the dentist and his nurse who explained everything well, helped made whole experience ok. Just wish they were taking on nhs as was only an access appointment. On waiting list
