  1. Review titled Poor practice, would not recommend.

Rated 1 star out of 5

Recently told that I had been removed from their NHS list due to not visiting for a couple of years. Despite having my current email & mobile number, I was not advised of this until presenting for an appointment. Not too disappointed however, as previous visits have been in line with some of the poor reviews on this site - no confidence in dentist, who seemed clumsy and inconsiderate as well as poorly skilled. Spouse also had to be referred to the sister practice (20 miles away), for root canal treatment, as the Flitwick practice was not capable. This was then charged as a private patient. Now have to go private as there are no dentists in my area taking on new NHS patients.

  2. Review titled Dissapointed

The reception team are really lovely and helpful however I was very disappointed with the dentist. I did not feel confident with her advice about treatment and the second dentist who saw me did not explain what she was doing., appeared very rushed and made me feel nervous. It seemed very disorganised and I have no confidence in going back. I paid for a private appointment and will not be returning. The prices for treatment just seemed to be made up on the spot.

Despite it being a quick check up, the dentist was also able to glue back one of my crowns that had come out in the last couple of weeks.

Not very quiet or calming in the waiting area. Can hear employees having personal conversations behind wall/screen in reception. Language difficulties understanding dentist as well

  5. Review titled Dental appointment, 11.10am on 17.1.24

The appointment went fine. It was on time. The dentist was, as always, excellent, very thorough, found a small hole which needed filling and did it right away. Fixing the next appointment time was fine too

  7. Review titled My experience

Last appointment was cancelled, my appointments always seem to get cancelled once or twice before I finally get one. The dentist told me I had gum disease with bone loss, it looked quite severe on the X-ray, this has never been mentioned to me before, despite regular checkups and X-rays etc. I could have done something about it if I was told I had gingivitis before it turned into periodontal disease. My teeth and gums appear fine on the surface and don’t bleed often so I had no way of knowing. Really disappointed that I wasn’t told about it until now when it should have been noticed in previous checkups and was either missed or simply not conveyed to me. Glad I know about it now at least but more care needs to be taken about getting people an early diagnosis of gingivitis before it’s too late to prevent periodontal disease. Repeatedly cancelling appointments probably hasn’t helped.

Absolutely ridiculous!!! Been transfered here from hill street now being forced to go private or be put on a waiting list to join the dentist i am already registered with. No need to re read it is as ridiculous as it sounds. Will not be returning

Quick check in at reception. I was seen by the Dentist at the correct time. The investigation carried out on the pain I was experiencing was thorough, Assessment and next steps were explained clearly. Everyone was courteous and friendly.

I’d had a filling fall out and got an appointment the next day. Quickly got through on the phone line too. I was even seen earlier than my appointment time . Tooth filled and check up done at same time.
