I have been a patient of this practice for 8 years. Most dentist at the practice went private during the pandemic. Since then it has been almost impossible to get an appointment as an NHS patient. In mid August, I had a dental emergency. I called NHS 111 twice who advised me to call the Queen Street Dental care. So I did. First it took more than 30 mins for someone to answer the call. When they did, they told me they did not have any NHS 111 appointment. I explained that I have been registered with them. Eventually, I was offered an appointment 2 days later. In the meantime, my gum and ear pain got worse, and my face became swollen. When I went for the appointment, they could not see me anymore, and ask me to call NHS 111. When I explained to them that I have been referred by NHS 111, and it's an emergency. They told me they can't help, and I must leave the clinic.
