On my most recent visit to Dover Priory Dental all of the staff were friendly and very professional. I was seen on time and didn’t have to wait.

My wife and I visited the practice a few weeks ago for dental check-ups and the whole experience was great from start to finish. Really welcoming, and the staff are very knowledgeable and experienced. They are clearly under pressure downstairs but always take the time to make you feel like the only patient in there and really put you at ease. Really pleased and will look forward to future visits!

They have cancelled 3 time in a row with less than 24 hours notice, its now been over 2 years since I have been able to have a check up. an absolute shambles

I was contacted in July to be told my dentist had left and that I wouldn’t be able to see someone till October. Phoned to make appointment in today to be told I’m no longer an NHS patient… no real explanation… disgusting

Due to an accident on the motorway, I was 9minutes late to my emergency appointment and rang ahead to explain. I booked in and waited 10minutes before being told I wouldn’t be seen as I was late, even though they’d pulled in patients early (so were not just sat waiting for me!). The receptionist was beyond rude and, when I was eventually seen by the dentist due to me putting up an argument, I was spoken to like a naughty child being told off, being told he wasn’t happy as he ‘clocked off at 4’ and it was 3:45. Nothing was done other than a quick tap on my tooth, so a week later I’m still in pain. Everyone I have told can’t believe how I was treated. I’ve since switched dentists and I would not recommend this dentist to anyone after this experience.

I am aware that currently the practice is short on staff however I’m not sure that excuses the poor quality of communication the individuals operating the phones have. They were quite rude and not very helpful/knowledgeable to questions I had. There services themselves have been fine. The wait times are questionable, having to wait till September for an appointment that I’m calling for in July. This however can’t be helped. But what can be improved on is their attitude towards patients.

I have been with the practice for many many years and always had great service, however, I have tried over the past two weeks to ring reception to change an appointment and every single time have got the answer machine. I can't take personal calls at work and by the time I finish they are closed so need to speak to someone when I ring!

I've been with this practice for many years & have always had excellent service. The staff have always been polite & very helpful. The practitioners have been well qualified & my treatment has always been exemplary.
