    Had similar issue with my tooth about 9 months ago and advised a nerve issue so would maybe required route canal treatment. As had a chip in tooth other side, advised this would need sorting first and gave me some toothpaste. The pain has never gone away as not as bad but got worst over past 7-8 months and this past 2 weeks horrendous! Went back and advised gum issue but also said could be required route canal treatment. Advised to brush and floss for next 7-10 days? Not sure what this would do but can get me referred which would be 8-10 weeks for private care. Advised i have not got the money to go private yet he persisted. Was not happy with result and 6 days later same issue and pain is worse than ever. Called and advised to wait to be referred? Had to call 111 for assistance, will be changing Dentist

    Went for a check up. Receptionists always friendly and chatty. My dentist is professional and talks me through any treatments I may need. Been with this practice for quite a few years and always found them helpful and friendly.

    My bridge came off the Saturday morning I was due to go on holiday. Despite not being registered at the practice my bridge was refitted that day. Very professional and friendly. Greatly appreciated.

    Upon registering with this dental practice, I was asked over the phone if I paid for prescriptions as they weren't taking on NHS patients, I advised I paid. I have visited the practice today only to be kept waiting almost 25 minutes for my appointment. It transpired I required a scale and polish for one problem tooth - the full mouth was not worked on and the procedure lasted no longer than 5 minutes. Because of this, I was advised they would not charge me the full price of £50 for the treatment , instead I could pay 25 pounds plus cost of check up which is usually 23.60. when I got to the front desk, I was charged 70, apparently 45 for a check up because I'm a 'private' patient, I questioned this as I was shocked and said I've never paid 45 for a check up before. Apparently you can be NHS paying or private which treatment/ checkups are more expensive if the latter. This was not explained to me upon registering, which I explained but there was no empathy from the receptionist, she questioned when Informed I wasn't paying full for the treatment. I got the sense they are all about the money, this practice isn't what it used to be when the original owner was there! Apparently when your a 'private' patient your supposed to have shorter wait times and first class service but that was not the case for me.

    Dear patient I am sorry that you had poor service at our practice as this is never out intention. It seems there was a lack of communication and we will make sure our staff have training on providing which services we offer. If there are any problems that we can deal with please contact the practice and ask for our supervisor who would be happy to help
