NHS website clearly shows them as accepting nhs patients as I checked first but just telephoned them and they are not taking on adults for nhs treatments.

Dear Wayne I apologise for any confusion - we are taking on adult NHS patients, but as the demand is so high, we have to manage in the same way as other local practices, by adding names and details to a waiting list and then contacting the patient when spaces are available. This means that if short notice cancellations become available we can utilise these for new patients and it prevents appointments being made for new patients some months in advance which can easily be forgotten about and then wasted. I am sorry if the receptionist did not explain this properly. If you would like your name to be added to the list with a view to the practice contacting you please ask. I would recommend adding your name to the practices locally who are managing their lists this way in order that you can obtain the first available appointment. Kind regards Debbie Rose General Manager
