    This practice has helpful staff,dentists,and receptionists. I have always found the dental practice works well, with the dentists doing all dental treatments. I have been a patient since this practice opened in the early 80's. Great treatment.

    I am very deaf and my dentist always goes out of his way to ensure that I am made aware of what is going on which makes my life so much easier.

    I was referred to this practice by my own dentist. Treatment over the last 12 months for sinus lift grafting and dental implants, has been excellent. The dentist and staff were both professional, caring and very polite. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

    I went to book a appointment where I was told I was no longer a nhs member. The lovely lady told me that on my records that I last phone on 2021 which  is not true. I phone in 2022 twice, to be told that my dentist was away and I could not see her and was not allowed to see any one else.  If I know when i phoned, i would of be taking off, I would of make appointment. Your receptionist never told me about this and did not put it in my notes that I phone. Which means im been taking off as nsh member, I did phone which it a bit unfair and I'm a very upset about this as I can not afford to be private. And I felt let down by your receptionist staff as they did not put in on my notes as I did phone and because of your staff I not longer a nhs member.

    I am sorry to hear that you have experienced problems accessing NHS dental care at your practice It may help to explain that if a patient does not attend the practice for a 2-year period they can be removed from the practice list, this was increased to 2 years and 6 months due to COVID. If we do not hear from a patient in this time, we must assume they are being seen elsewhere for their oral hygiene check-ups. At your last check-up, the dentist will have advised when you should next attend, this is usually either 6 or 12 months, it is then the responsibility of the patient to make sure they book this next check-up at the given time. Failure to do so, will result in removal from the practice books, in order to create space for the growing waiting list of patients trying to access NHS dentistry. It may be helpful to use our website or the NHS website to locate a practice within your area that may have the capacity to take on new patients. Kind regards, {my}dentist Patient Support Team

    Had my big tooth at the back pulled yesterday Wing the dentist was absolutely Fantastic talked me through the whole procedure.I never felt a thing the tooth was out before i knew it.After the Anesthetic wore off i had no pain i woke up this morning no pain at all i would highly recomend Wing to anyone who has worries of visiting the dentist.

    As we hear so much of people having problems accessing NHS dental treatment it is reassuring to know that NHS dentists are still working to provide an excellent service. I hope that this and other practices continue to offer NHS treatment.

    After my dentist left the practice I and hundreds of other patients were stripped of any Nhs dental care. we did nothing wrong except be on the list of a dentist who wished to move practices. we can see a dentist privately for £85 or join one of their regular 'affordable' policies which in fact only offers one or two dental/hygienist visits per year with a 10% discount on private treatment. either way hundreds of people unable to afford a regular amount or indeed occasional treatment are now left without care. it is not only this dental practice but a problem throughout Bristol -Uk. Beware all, this story could be yours!

    As you may be aware, we do have several dentist vacancies at your practice and are actively trying to recruit. Unfortunately, recruitment of dentist’s post pandemic is proving extremely difficult. There is a shortage of dentists in the UK which is making attracting dentists to certain areas of the country more difficult and we are experiencing challenges in recruiting to the area. However, we are looking at all options to attract and re-locate dentists to your practice. Please be assured that the vacancies are not through any lack of trying or apathy on our part, purely that recruiting dentists, is proving difficult. However, whilst we are recruiting, if you experience a dental emergency, e.g. pain, swelling or bleeding then you can still contact the practice and they will triage your symptoms and advise you how obtain emergency assistance until the practice is fully staffed.     For the first time in my life I have felt happy to go to my dentist. My treatment has been excellent and my teeth have improved. Just wish I had this when being a child.
