I've been at this practice for years..but now my actual dentist has left and cannot find a replacement for her I'm now having to go private as they have no other dentist at the practice to refer me to.. which I find hard to believe.

Dear Patient, We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with our practice. Due to our current NHS appointment availability we are unable to offer appointments to everyone who contacts the practice, and this can include patients who have previously attended. As you may know via extensive recent media coverage, NHS dentistry is under severe pressure right now and we have seen these challenges first-hand at many mydentist practices. Recruiting an NHS clinician in the current climate is extremely challenging. We are very concerned about the lack of NHS dentists and are offering enhanced packages in many of our practices to attract NHS dentists, however, despite our best efforts, we have still not been able to secure any NHS dentists to your location. Whilst we recruit to backfill the NHS dentists, private care is an alternative option for our patients to consider in order to access dental care at your practice. Had to pay multiple times for the same filling repeatedly falling out. After Covid they told me that the NHS had "struck me off" and if I wanted an appointment I would have to go private. After asking who in the NHS had instructed them to remove me as a patient they back tracked, got angry at being exposed as a liar, and put the phone down on me.

This is a very reliable practice with appointments that are reasonably accurate. Pleasant staff and waiting room. Dentists are very professional and I have been treated well here for many years

Fitted me in at very short notice and was impressed also with the dentist involved. Phoned up for an appointment on morning and was luckily given same day appointment which I needed an extraction. Dealt with extremely well. Highly recommend

I had an extraction, quick and easy treatment, no fuss appointment. The lady behind desk was lovely, professional and helpful. Im very unlikely to return as my appointment was an emergency and i dont live in the area though i was pleased with my visit.

Had an emergency appointment for an extraction, The surgery was busy so i had to wait in the waiting room a while which was understandable, the treatment was done without any complication, also sound aftercare advice given. The receptionist was fantastic, straightforward with advice which i found helpful. Pleased with my visit but im very unlikely to return as i dont live in the area and it was a dental emergency appointment via 111.

Went here for emergency appointment via 111, staff were really helpful & reassuring. 1st impressions last and I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone. Was worried when I read the other reviews but can only comment on my experience, very very good.
