    My past few appointments have been like this. I took a bus, turned up way before time only to be told it was cancelled and no update. My next appointment I asked to rearrange it and was told it was cancelled because the dentist was on holiday. Phoned today to rearrange my appointment to be told it was cancelled because the dentist is leaving and to phone back at the end of March. I'm told they sent me a letter to my old address from over 2 years ago even though I updated them a few times mainly the day I moved in. I asked why they didn't send an txt and apparently people change their mobiles all the time so they don't. (changing a mobile phone doesn't change the number!). And sending emails is not a thing. For the first time in many years it did feel like the receptionist was putting the blame on me and making excuses up for why they have not updated their system. Even when I asked if I could rearrange my appointment I was bombarded with queations before I could even give my name and date of birth. When I said it all seems a little confusing having to ring back after March with zero information on what was happening, I was scolded like a child at school for asking a simple question. If you are not updated on something and told to ring back after March then yes, it does seem a little confusing.

    Called in person yesterday to ask if check up reminders are sent every 6 or 12 months to be told the patient must request a check up. I asked to book one and was told that I am no longer a patient as my last treatment was in 2021! I am 75 years old and have never missed an appointment, always paid for my treatment on time. The last treatment I had was root canal treatment, time consuming and costly. Very harsh rules that I was not aware of. My son receives 6 monthly reminders from his practice in Rotherham where I used to live and I thought this was the protocol.

Due to our current NHS appointment available we are unfortunately not able to offer appointments to everyone who contacts the practice, and this can include patients who have previously attended.     Went 2 the dentist on Saturday the 25th March the service provided by my dentist was 5 star everything no problem 2 put u at ease would definitely recommend the practice keep up the great work much appreciated thanks 4 a great experience & treatment at the dentist cheers everyone
