Have just had my latest check-up, and the service was excellent as usual. From arriving at reception, through the actual check-up itself, to the booking of my next appointment, everything was smooth and efficient, with friendly staff and prompt service. I would definitely recommend Canon Street to anyone.

Had my first appointment with hygienist today. Not been for years. So glad I did. Can’t stop looking at my shiny clean teeth. What a state they were in. Can’t believe the difference. Always very happy with treatments at Canon Street. Thank you.

I've used this practice twice this year for an examination, filling and extraction. Being a nervous patient and with my long-term local dental practice no longer taking nhs patients I had to find an alternative. The My Options plan costs more than nhs pricing. They advertise being able to pay in instalments for treatments. If you have already paid for an examination (£49l, even if it is part of your plan, they will not incorporate it into the overall cost (even if total is over £300) As a retired person this makes for difficult budgeting and I feel all the welcoming, friendly, efficiency of the staff and dentist is marred by the obvious need to grab your money!!! Not a good lasting impression for someone who dreads going anyway. If the practice made allowances for those on a limited budget and were able to be a little more flexible in their approach to payment, then I'm certain more people would seem regular dental treatment, if they are not able to access and register under the nhs. Many of us have paid into the National insurance for 45 years plus and it would be a comfort to know we can at least have some kind support with our health as we get older.

Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry for any inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, as this practice is already at maximum capacity for NHS patients, they are currently unable to offer you an NHS place. In some practices where we have no NHS appointment capacity, we do have alternative private options for patients to access dentistry, outside of the practices NHS contractual obligations. We will always offer patients this option as an alternative, so our patients can make an informed choice on their dental care. We are however please you were happy with the services offered to you. I had a problem with my tooth l was seen at very short notice. Friendly helpful staff . Would recommend this dentist. There was a cancellation &; l was seen very quickly

One of my teeth had been becoming increasingly uncomfortable all weekend - loose and sensitive to touch. I contacted the surgery at 9.15 a.m. At 12.45 it had been removed. Today, the day after, it is wonderful to feel so much better! Many thanks to all you kind and helpful people.

We have always received excellent treatment from the Dental Surgeon and Hygienist despite all the problems brought on by the Covid pandemic. Much improved reception team has now created an all round excellent experience.
