I'm in terrible pain, call them for emergency appointment to be told I'm no longer registered, apparently anyone who is not 60 is automatically de-registered i cannot find a dentist anywhere

I have been patience itself through the pandemic, and understand to some extent why it is now several years since I have had a check-up or any hygienist's treatment (though it does seem that other practices returned to normal some time ago). So I went for my long-awaited check-up (a 40 min journey on a very hot day) several months after booking it, to be told my appointment had been cancelled, a letter had been sent (obviously not received) and there was nothing they could do. Not only that, but I had been removed from their list as they were only seeing over 65s and children as NHS patients. The manager would not even see me, although she was in the building. The reception staff did their best, but the whole experience was infuriating.

Having rang multiple times during the pandemic to check when I would be able to be seen and nothing back for two years )other than emergencies only), I was delighted when I was able to book an appointment in May. I attended my appointment in July only to discover without warning that I was de-registered (they are only seeing children and adults). Experienced tooth pain yesterday and rang to see if at all they could help as it was excruciating. The receptionist declined an emergency appointment and offered me no help whatsoever! I noticed they have enough dentists to offer teeth straightening and whitening that they have advertised only a few days ago on Facebook!

Many appointments (at least 4) cancelled pre covid and two recently. Last app letter sent saying no longer seeing any nhs patients, despite appointments being made for broken tooth!! Now nowhere locally to register!
