Happy smiley reception greeting, two extractions with only minor discomfort, certainly no pain. Professional friendly dentist. No pain after.

  2. Review titled Friendly, professional, efficient Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My long overdue trip to a dentist really was a remarkably pleasant experience. From the initial registration which was overseen by the most delightfully friendly and professional team, to my next appointment only a week later where my brilliant dentist (efficiently assisted by his very professional dental nurse) so skilfully extracted my lower back tooth, I was treated with a sincerity of kindness that set me comfortably at ease. And, as a further testament to my dentist's skills as a dental surgeon, I have not experienced the slightest hint of any pain since - none! Not even after the anaesthetic had worn off! Thank you team!

  3. Review titled Rushed appointments and sloppy work

Rated 1 star out of 5

by David Hopes - Posted on 22 March 2024

Long waits for priority work combined with incredibly rushed appointment in November. This has resulted in both children requiring multiple emergency tooth extractions/hospital appointments due to abscesses and poor quality of fillings. Both children require costly private dental care to rectify the rushed and poor quality work carried out.

  4. Review titled Wouldn't recommend one bit

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Hayley - Posted on 16 March 2024

I wouldn't recommend this practice one bit , Long story short I'm in serious need of having 2/3 wisdom teeth removed, they have been needing to be removed now for 2 years took me almost 6 months to get a appointment to have a referral put through to hospital to have them taken out due to family bereavements and covid & health issues had to reschedule it 3 times so was tool off waiting list tried to go back to dentist to have another referral put through explaining what had happened which took another 5 months to be seen to then be told they will absolutely not put another referral though because they had already done so once, wasn't willing to listen to explanation of why It was needed again or answer questions of so what am I expected or supposed to do then, as won't remove them in surgery due to how badly broken they are and how long ive already been waiting also with a phobia of needles amd dentists (this sort of treatment half being why)what was I expected to do be left in agony and forget teeth need to come out and are a problem find a new NHS dentist as on universal credit which is almost impossible or what, was spoken to harshly and just told nothing they can do as already have put a referral across previously on my behalf so won't do it again can hardly eat hardly sleep causing me to be extremely depressed and stressed out by the situation totally unsure what to do. Have now got a new problem tmj disorder which is a disorder if the jaw (could be connected & caused by broken teeth needing to be removed) which I am now being prescribed codeines for the shear agony pain that comes with it which could of possibly been avoided and where I wouldn't now be having to take strong addictive pain killers daily or early get 4 hours sleep a night due to the agony from the teeth and jaw if had been given and shown a bit more respect, and care and compassion, lady I has always spoke to me in a very harsh manner coming across mean and judgmental expressionless/almost angry expression & body language made me feel a bit threatened and belittled and scared and definitely not took seriously. Had a xray by said lady amd at this practice only to be told my teeth are fine on xray with the 3 that are level with gum broke crumbling away not out yet and where even I am able to see several teeth that have cavities which are getting bigger appearing on more teeth that need filling that have been filled previously that arnt being done anything about as according to lady on xray looked fine absolutely no reassurance or care and compassion shown/felt made to feel like it's a waste of time trying to make appointments to be seen and be pain free solve problems and would be better off suffering in silence at home, Hence would not recommend one bit.

  5. Review titled Used to be a great service at this practice

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Had routine checkup in oct 2023. Mentioned I had pain from hot and cold in a tooth. The assessment was done in less than ten minutes and felt very rushed ( I appreciate how difficult it is for NHS dentist with the cut backs) however I was told I had a broken back tooth and needed a filling. I the past this treatment was done there and then. I was told to go and make another appointment for this to happen. The earliest appointment offered was January 2024. I was put on a cancellation list. I have heard nothing to date despite my ringing them and explaining I’ve developed more pain. What do I do? I can’t really afford to go private I have a limited income being a pensioner. It seems barbaric to ignore a person in pain and tell them sorry we don’t have any appointments with anyone else. Im sorry to have to write this bad review.

  8. Review titled Very unhelpful

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 18 January 2024

Last 3 appointments cancelled, when I rang to rebook I was told my dentist had left and when they could recruit a new nhs dentist I would be contacted, I rang January 2024 as I have a broken tooth and asked to be seen, was told nobody was available but if I was willing to see a private dentist I could be seen the next day, I can't afford this, very unhelpful and uncaring. A family member who is also an nhs patient is able to get an appointment, when I mentioned this I was told " oh, she must be one of the lucky ones! Who decided that?

  9. Review titled My experience

I had broken a tooth some weeks ago & was seen pretty promptly. In a matter of days after a temporary filling fell out I was advised that no dentist was available for several weeks. The receptionist who talked to me on the phone was abrupt and rude and after a mild altercation slammed the phone down on me. I called back after a short while and was helped by a very pleasant lady. On 29th I was seen by my dentist and advised that I would need two appointments to fix & fit a crown. This took all of two minutes. I was advised of the NHS charge of £306. I went back to reception where a date in Oct & further one in Nov was supplied. Your reception was cold and indifferent toward me! Further advised that £25 was required for todays visit! I was very surprised as I would consider this to be work in progress! And that I will have to pay £306 at the end of treatment! Your receptionist was cold and indifferent and all together gave a very bad service. I’m sorry that this is the case but I feel I must report this. Should you wish to discuss this and to reach a status quo then I would be happy to do so
