   After awaiting several months for my sons to have a check up appointment, we were refused to be seen. The appointment was 4.20pm, we arrived at the reception desk 4.21pm (due to heavy Friday traffic and difficulties getting my son to attend the appointment). The dentist walked past us to leave the premise and said hello to us, then once at reception we were told due to being late we could not be seen. 1 minute- all previous appointments we have had a 15-30 minute wait which distresses my son so we chose not to attended early to reduce his stress. I explained one of my children had ADHD/autism and it had been distressing for us to get him to the practice. The receptionist went to the dentists car to explain, but came back in and said said had refused to see them as she needed to drive home to yorkshire. In additional I was told her last 2 appointments hadn't turned up so she left at our appointment time. The last dental treatment my son had was under sedation at hospital due to his additional needs and had been awaiting a review which he has now been refused. My other son also missed a pre-paid tennis lesson to attend the appointment. My son was extremely confused, all the distress could have been avoided and I'm disgusted by the treatment we have received.
