  1. Review titled Great care provided

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The practice was particularly helpful to my autistic and anxious son. They offered an appointment at a quiet time so there was very little wait and they were very gentle and relaxed during the appointment, making it much easier for him to cope. Really lovely care provided.

  2. Review titled Poor communication and ridiculous waiting times

Rated 3 stars out of 5

The practice is bad at advising. The receptionists don't have much of an idea about the practices and you're kind of left to your own judgment about what to do, which may not necessarily be the best decision. I had a chipped tooth, and rather than advising me to see a dentist ASAP to get it treated, they told me to see how it goes and wait for my scheduled appointment which was more than a month away. Eventually, I did see a dentist to get it treated because I didn't want to incur a potentially massive cost due to a bigger procedure. The dentists also never appear to run on schedule. I was made to wait 40 minutes past my appointment time to see the dentist. This is unacceptable. I can understand 5-10 minutes, but anything more than 15 minutes is not professional. If they are running late, the least the receptionists can do is phone the patient and let them know so that we're not sitting there waiting. This is a common complaint that I have heard other patients express their frustration over. Overall I hope the practice can improve on their communication, transparency of costs, and be more proactive when dentists are running late by communicating with patients if there is going to be a significant delay.

  6. Review titled Nice, but time management is atrocious

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Faheem - Posted on 03 December 2023

I really do love my dentist but the practice should allow for delays, which in my experience have been the case every time I have visited. I was seen half an hour late, which is fine because I know appointments can take longer than normal, but really, instead of giving patients 15 minutes per normal checkup, just add another 15 minutes to their appointment so that the next patient is sitting there for half an hour. Another person waiting in the reception was very irked by the delays, I know this is no fault of the dentist because said dentist is a lovely person and I always hold them in high regard, but as I said, patients should be assigned 30 minutes per appointment instead of 15 so that other patients are not left waiting

Very friendly and helpful receptionists. My dentist always takes time to explain what procedures he is going to carry out and recommends any preventative measures I can take for my future oral health. I am very happy with the service I receive.

  9. Review titled Excellent professional input

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended Manor Park dental practice for my scheduled check-up with the dentist. I received expert guidance on future treatment, including rationale and outcomes of treatment and an approximate timeframe. I was able to start the planning process for setting up the treatment programme before leaving the surgery. It was an efficient and reassuring experience. As a patient, I could not have asked for anything better.

Thoroughly professional dentist, commendably focused on working in partnership with the patient on the sustained maintenance of good oral health. My teeth have never been in better shape.
