I had to visit Station Road for emergency treatment this morning. From the moment of booking by phone to arriving this morning, having an extraction and then receiving aftercare before I was safely allowed to travel home, the quality of care was exceptional. Great dentist and assistant, a lovely helpful reception team and good covid safety measures. I appreciate that visiting the dentist isn’t meant to be a pleasurable experience in the same way as going to a restaurant or movie etc, but the team at Wellington at least made a traumatic experience way more bearable. Thank you.

I have been at this dental practice since I was about 5 years old, I'm now 59. In all my years they have always treated me with care and attention. I'm very lucky to still be a NHS patient especially in the current crisis for dental patients all over the country. All the staff are very professional and try to meet my needs. Hats of to everyone who works there.

The dental surgeon who I may not name was professional, calm and gentle, treated me with courtesy and explained everything carefully and clearly. It was a very difficult procedure due to the position of the tooth and I felt quite at ease that he knew exactly what he was doing and was focused.I felt he was doing the best for my particular issue and he explained all options. However,I did, and I said this to them at the time, find the dental nurses seemingly continual in and out for one thing or another and looking for 'tools' that weren't and expressing confusion as to where they might be there along with the several repetitions of a request to get/do something to the trainee did not instill me,( lying in a vulnerable position), with confidence as one appeared to be too busy giving instructions to another to properly focus on assisting the dental surgeon with me. I appreciate trainees need to learn but I would have expected the basic knowledge to already be there. Anyway,all that in and out and chattering over didn't make me feel anything other than a nondescript thing to bring in revenue. Professionalism and patient care should surely be top priority. This was how that made me feel. Dental Treatment excellent!
