  1. Review titled Make over made good

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My first visit in a while. Great to see the practice has had a make over. New equipment and a refurb. Looking smart and professional. All the staff were polite, helpful and friendly. I was very pleased with my dentist, who has a calm, pleasant and understanding manner. Good service and professional staff. I'm happy to go again.

  2. Review titled New management?

Rated 1 star out of 5

I’ve been a patient at the practice for many years and never thought I’d leave such a negative review. I recently had an appointment at the practice and gosh what a change! When I arrived and checked in it seemed like it was to much trouble for the reception staff as they barely acknowledged me. Too interested in chatting to each other or looking at their phones. The whole place was dirty didn’t seem like it had been properly cleaned for quite a while. The flooring is half finished and has been like this for quite some time. The door to the cellar was removed nearly 2 years ago, leaving it open to patients. A drop of 7 or 8 foot especially worrying as quite a few children were in the practice while I was there. Looks like it’s an accident waiting to happen. Surprised the NHS let this continue. I wonder if there has been a change in management because it certainly wasn’t like this a couple of years ago.

  3. Review titled Overcharging. Force to pay private charge for NHS treatment

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I was there was a routine dental check for which they charged band 1 (£23) just to open my mouth and look inside with an x-ray. The dentist saw a need for scaling/clean but she said I had to do it private there. The appointments are also faster only if private in the same practice. Now with the hygienist the cleaning appointment was booked and when I attended, the hygienist cleaned just my lower set of teeth and they charged me £45 and wanted me to come back again by booking another appointment to clean my upper teeth..what? why? Also I was told I need to book a double appointment then which would cost me £90 just so that they can clean my upper set of teeth. It was so unfair they charge for what had to be covered in a normal band 1 NHS appointment but they force patients to take up private appointments so they can charge more for a same treatment over multiple unnecessary appointments.

  4. Review titled Deserves 6 stars

I was referred to this practice by my local dental practice. Unfortunately I do not clearly recall the name of the dentist that worked on me on both occasions but she was gentle, very clear and professional. She answered all my questions satisfactorily and I could tell that she was doing everything she possibly could to get to the bottom of my dental problem. Her assistant was also very professional and you could tell that both have a passion for what they do. As for the admin team, what can I say?!. Very good at reminding you about your appointment and making sure to always ring you if you wish to have an earlier appointment incase there's a cancellation. All in all, I am extremely pleased with the service. This is the second time I am visiting the practice and I would recommend 100% Great work guys!!!
