Tried to phone dentist for emergency appointment. I was on hold for 5 hours. Appalling customer service

My wife and I have had appointments cancelled over and over so when i actually got my check up it was 6 months after the original date. You have the check up and then any treatment the dentist states you need has to be paid for, so my wife paid for the check up and also a follow up hygienist appointment and a tooth extraction, after more cancellations with the hygienist she managed to get seen after 3 months, however the tooth extraction still hasn't happened after 9 months and after repeatedly chasing no appointment. The receptionists do not seem to know how to use the computer systems, and the answerphone is either full or never call you back. total shambles when it comes to treatment but on the ball to take you money.

Cancel appointments, do not return answerphone messages when you can get through, 95% of time phone mailbox is full!!

I have been trying to get hold of this practice for 5 days. I am just trying to reach them as on the NHS website it advised that they are taking on children. I have been 1 in que every time but waited over 30 minutes before giving up. One of the times I went on their website and saw they were closed for lunch I assume, after waiting 20 minutes and there's no message to say they are on lunch or closed. Absolutely shocking

Check-up planned for November 2022, this was booked one year prior so only offering check-ups once per year. I then find that they are cancelling my appointment and re-booking for March next year. My wife has had her appointment cancelled 3 times this year!!

My children are registered here but haven't seen a dentist in two years as our appointments keep getting cancelled. They don't offer an alternative appointment, just cancel them outright. I have had to register privately elsewhere just to get my children seen by a dentist.
