Had an appointment, the receptionist was lovely. When seated in the dentist chair the dentist came in and didn’t acknowledge me, then had a Quick Look in my mouth which lasted seconds, didn’t speak a word, then finished, I then told him I’d been in a lot of pain and bleeding from wisdom teeth, he abruptly told me I’d “need to make an appointment for that” and that was it, the service was not worth a penny. Further down the line my tooth got worse, in excruciating pain, swollen face and neck, couldn’t eat, sleep or work. I phoned the dentist and was told that unless I was to pay privately the only emergency nhs cases they were taking were for life threatening emergencies. Months later I phone for another appointment and was told it would be over a year wait for nhs. Just under a year later they contact me with an appointment for a routine checkup, but with work commitments (as I work for nhs) I had to turn the appointment down and was told they would contact me to make another appointment. Almost a year later I now contact them as I have not heard anything and I’m told that unless I pay to go private that they are no longer keeping me as a patient. I am the most polite person lm quite shy, never made a fuss or complained, so never given them reason to dismiss me, but unfortunately they only want private paying customers now. Absolutely disgusting. I’m 34 and have been going here my entire life, the service used to be fantastic. Now they are only interested if you’re the highest paying patient.

I attended the hygienist and dentist. Both were friendly, informative and carried out their work in a professional manner. In fact, I have found all the staff to be patient centred in the many years I’ve been attending the Family Dental Practice, in Eastwood

From lady on reception,to nurse,to the dentist himself I couldn’t have had a better experience…. All very pleasant, very efficient & on top of their job…… THANKYOU

Easy swift process. Dentist and assistant was very clear polite and informative. The treatment and cost was explained to me fully.

I was met with a friendly greeting at reception and with a friendly, attentive and informative dentist and partner in the surgery. The dentist took time to explain throughout - thank-you!

Appointment ahead of time and both the dentist and the dental nurse were engaging and friendly. Good advice given over a problem with dentures and thorough examination. Follow up appointment booked.

£25 nhs check up for laterally 5 minutes. Then told the dental hygiene isnt included as it used to be and would cost £69 extra. Absolute con. Basically offering nhs dental care at private prices. Better off going to a private dentist that has always been private.

Excellent dentist.explained my options has she tried to to root canal filling but couldn’t do it has it had been done before and root was short so disappointed that the dentist before hadn’t noticed it
