    I went in for a check up, I haven’t been to the dentist for 4 years. The appointment was 5 minutes long, meant to have x-rays every 2 years and I did not have any. The only thing that done were questions being and looked at my teeth with the mirror for 3 minutes tops and that was it.

    I am the biggest coward when it comes to dentists, but needed a dentist urgently. After registering, I didn't have to wait long for an appointment. I was put at ease from the moment I walked into the surgery by the reception staff, and the same can be said of the dentist and her nurse. After x rays etc. were done the dentist explained that I could do with seeing the hygienist. Appointment made to go back and I can honestly say that I was looking forward to it !! I attended without any fear whatsoever, work done, a bit uncomfortable but not painful in the least. All done and dusted for another 6 months.

    I was recommended by the dentist at a previous appointment that I would benefit from attention from a hygienist to help reduce gum infection which had led to me losing a tooth which came loose. The hygienist fully explained what her procedure was and made every effort to ensure that I enjoyed the experience. She then recommended an electric toothbrush which should better be able to keep my gums disease free.

    Initial contact friendly and welcoming. Fairly quick appointment for initial examination and equally quick for second appointment where impressions were made -3 to be exact. Third appointment equally quick but that's 4/5 days away but of course it is the eventual end result that really matters so I shall make no further review until that time.
