I showed up to my appointment to see they had closed early. When I knocked they told me that the dentist was closed as the dentist was not in, and that they had been trying to contact me for several days. This was untrue, I have never had issues receiving calls! They rearranged a month later, where the dentist told me a root canal infection had returned and the tooth may need removing worse case. She didn’t seem certain, and said they would contact me about this which they haven’t in 2 months. I went private out of panic, where the X-ray revealed there was absolutely no problem with the tooth in question and I had panicked for nothing. I left drakes dental surgery feeling upset and stressed and without resolution. Gone downhill in the last few years which is a shame.

Absolutely disgraceful. Charged me for a appointment when it was part of an ongoing treatment. Had a filling done which I paid for. It started hurting so booked an appointment which they charged me again for. When questioned the response from both the receptionist and manager was the dentist that did your filling is not in today so as you have seen another dentist you have to pay. Avoid this dentist.
