Had a crown fitted on Tuesday and the Dental Hygienist the following Wednesday. Bothe tasks were carried out effectively and I am pleased with the results

I can honestly hold my hands up and say I have never been keen on going to the dentist, after experiencing something when I was younger it put me off and so scared, from the minute I walked through the door, there was a feeling of calm the staff are so friendly. I cannot thankyou my dentist enough who took her time with me and made sure every step of the way I knew what happening. Sorry I have forgot her name, that’s because I was crying this morning, she brought a smile back to me ready for my wedding day but also my confidence. Thank you from the bottom Of my heart.

Everyone at the dentist is so nice! I'm autistic and struggle with talking to people but everyone from the lovely receptionists to the wonderful dentists are so kind and help me feel at ease. I'm quite fortunate that I'm able to still go as an NHS patient so I can't really comment on any pricing

I find the dentist practice very friendlly and always clean the dentist check your teeth over professionally and always take great care especially if your a nerves patient. I have been a patient here for nearly 30 years and would never change.

I seem to spend more time with the receptionist than with a dentist/dental nurse when in for a check-up. I can be in and out the chair in less than 2 minutes so I often struggle to feel the need for a visit - they also now don't do scale & polishes. The overall demeanour seems to have improved over the last year or so. Dentists used to change in this practice like you change your socks and if there was a particularly good one, they'd soon be gone. The last couple check-ups they seem to have been able to retain some. Telephone manner also used to be atrocious. The phones wouldn't be answered, when they did answer they'd put people on hold and chat behind the counter (I was in the practice witnessing this), cancellations were constant and sometimes same day so you wouldn't realise before arriving - this also meant rearranging an appointment was an uphill battle and you'd know in the back of your mind it will probably be cancelled last minute again. This may still be some people's experience but the last two check-ups I've had minimal problems relating to making/amending/cancelled appointments. If you book in for a hygienist appointment, they're only available on Thursdays and the price has increased to £60. You'll also be required to pay when you book; likely to prevent no-shows. Otherwise, any problems that arise tend to come from a few dentists themselves, maybe because they know they won't be at the practice for long. I was advised to start wearing a thick retainer (for tooth grinding) again but every attempt to speak to the dentist (or the practice itself) was met with no answer or referring back to the other so nearly 2 years on I've stopped trying. A relative who had been living outside of Swindon at the time had horrible tooth pain/ache and had to make a special trip to Swindon for a urgent check-up only to be told by the dentist 'You're fine, go home' and refuse to do any more when they were quite clearly in great pain. However I believe this dentist may have left now.

I am very nervous when visiting any dental practice but the dentist here is so good and puts me at ease. He is very thorough and helpful and all staff are very efficient with good customer service.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. They put me at ease. The appointment was on time. I was able to park outside the practice easily, although there are only a few parking spots.

Joined this practice in August 2022 first appointment was booked for November took the day off but practice cancelled it 1hr before I was due to arrive, rebooked for January again cancelled 1 hour before i arrived,rebooked for a Saturday as i had lost two days holiday yes you guessed it cancelled 1 hour before arrival this practice hasn't got a clue, you have to give them 48 hours notice for cancellations but they only have to give you 1 hour If you don't want to be seen this practice is ideal full of excuses, Avoid at all cost
