Called the practice 6 times in 1 day just to change an appointment. The first 5 times (from when they first opened to early afternoon), was told that I was first in the queue and 2 of those times I waited for over 10 minutes, and no one answered. It was around 4pm that I finally had someone who answered the phone, the receptionist was slightly abrupt and just after the next appointment was set, the phone went dead, no polite goodbye, nothing.

The 2 receptionists were loud in a busy reception talking about finding other jobs. Also discussing the merits of the dentists & naming one who was the only dentist there who could make dentures satisfactorily. IVery unprofessional!! I was also told I am no longer Nhs but independent… no notice of this was given.

Dental care good but I have had unhelpful and unprofessional treatment at reception. Recently went with my husband for our 6 months checkup for which I have the printed reminder cards only to be told that only my husband would be seen as I wasn’t on their computer. No apology, no attempt to rectify the situation. In fact the reception seemed amazed that I thought an apology was in order. The reception team were in a gaggle discussing private matters and doing a’show and tell’ over a private Amazon delivery whilst I waited for my husband. I am not a working person luckily but I could have lost pay or work hours through this incompetence had I been. This team needs training.

I've been to this practice a few times and have had a lovely experience. Unfortunately not the case today. I called as my tooth has cracked and I'm in a lot of pain. Was told that the next appointment was not until Thursday, so I asked what I should do incase it gets worse. The receptionist was extremely unhelpful and rude. Got told I'd just have to wait, so I asked my question again and explained that my filling was showing and my tooth feels like it's crumbling. Once again she was rude. Told that she would speak to the dentist and call me back. This hasn't happened.

Asked to be seen about a cap I had dropped off and they saw me within 2 days - brilliant. They restuck the cap on and did a small filling excellent service

Always had great treatment, honest appraisal of what did and didn't need doing. Recent treatment was with the hygienist and I recommend a visit, really good job, very efficient, painless, thorough. Hi tec treatment I'd never had before at a hygienist appt, have recommended to all my family.

I have only been with this practice for about 3 years but the dentist I saw on 15 May 2022 was the best yet, helpful, patient and good at her job.
