The reception team are lovely and helpful. The hygienist is just lovely and makes me feel at ease and less ashamed. I have never had a dentist that is so respectful and kind as he was.

Friendly staff clean surroundings and a lovely Dentist who is very understanding and gentle puts you at ease very nice chap

I attended for my usual exam which ordinarily includes a scale and polish. The dentist counted my teeth, passed on some scores to the assistant and then said I was the last patient of the day and he didn't have time to do anything else... ? The assistant asked me to sign the NHS form which had £65 written on it ? I queried this and was told it was the bill for todays visit and for the dental hygienist with a return visit ? I said so why isn't the dentist doing this ? I was then given some paperwork with a letter hidden beneath, stating that the dentist is going private and if I wanted to return it would be as a private patient ?! I also had the option of Denplan costing £20 a month just to see a dentist. So even though I have been a regular patient for several years, and played 'by the rules', this option has now been taken away from me unless I pay extortionate amounts of money. I was told that after today I would no longer have an NHS dentist. I was told I could go on a waiting list with no notice in advance. None of the dentists near to where I live are taking on new clients. I am disgusted at how this information was announced and relayed. Incidentally, I did note that I was handed a 'tablet' (and not a normal clip sheet and pen) to complete the one omitted pre registration sheet, a fully electronic all singing and dancing dentist's chair and my 'hygienist appointment' was printed off electronically (instead of a simple business card).

Dear patient, I would like to extend to you our apologies that the situation was not made clear to you when you attended for your recent appointment. Emails and letters have been sent out to all our patients who have been affected and I am sorry that you did not receive yours in time for your appointment. We are trying to recruit an NHS successor and meantime you can be placed on the NHS waiting list. The Denplan information given was just an option to consider if you would like to continue to see your current dentist as he no longer has an NHS contract. Please contact us for a free 3D scan appointment with our treatment coordinator and to discuss your options if you feel this could help. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Really disappointed that you are not offering NHS services forthwith and being told that at the moment there is no NHS Dentist available for the post and indefinitely could not book for an NHS appointment until this position has been filled.. really poor after 47 years coming to the same dentist.. and also that the dentist practice is really only offering private care at circa £20 per month.. this is the way of the world at the moment.. poor service and over inflated prices.. I pay for all my dental work but I feel sorry for the patients that need a good NHS service.. smoke and mirrors

Dear patient, Our practice is a mixed NHS and Private practice and as such we are recruiting for a successor to replace the NHS services your dentist can no longer provide. The current dental crisis is causing dental practice closures at the moment and we are doing all we can to prevent this happening to our practice and our patients. I had booked on the monday for a broken filling but stated i did not need an emergency appointment, i waa given an appointment for the Friday. Upon arrival i was told ny thr dentist they only did emergency treatment. The dentist was supportive and did resplve the issue however as the filling was just 2months old the prvious dentist should have given me as much information about the weakness of the filling as this dentist.

I had a clean from hygienist good but they told me I had scaling on all teeth last time I went dentist I had a different hygienist who said just one area needed cleaning so not sure which opion to go with

Very friendly and polite staff on reception and in the dentist room Only complaint, i find the practice is always running behind. Yesterday there were patients moaning loudly in the waiting room about the lateness and one lady left, cancelling her appointment. My appointment was only 20mins behind

The dentist was amazing, moved his whole diary around just to fit in and replace a filling that was almost half of my front tooth, not only has he stopped my pain he corrected a cosmetic issue at the same time which has given me much more confidence and happy with my smile!!! Thank you so much!
