Review titled Left in pain
Rated 1 star out of 5

After a root canal I was left in severe pain. Over the weekend, attended hospital who wouldnt give antibiotics only codine, on Monday another dentist in the practice gave antibiotics, swelling reduced but still unable to eat. Returned to dentist who decided tooth broken and extracted in pieces, very painful and distressing. 2 weeks later still eating soft food and in pain, left an answer phone message to discuss as I felt unwell and had a temperature - ignored no reply! Two days later a small root came out of gum, a few days on yet another piece of tooth came out. Weeks of pain, soft food and an unhealed wound. Surely after care should be better than this.

Review titled Removed from list without notice
Rated 1 star out of 5

My father is 82 and broke his NHS plate , I phoned the dentist to ask for it to be repaired and was told he was no longer on their books as hadn't had a check up. He had not been asked to make a check up and I was told it was standard practice to automatically remove patients leaving them without dental care without notice. The receptionist was sympathetic but had to follow the rules.
