I've had so many appointments cancelled and not seen the same dentist twice over the last few years. I've now received a text to say my June 23 appointment is cancelled due to the NHS dentist leaving and they can't find a replacement and so can no longer offer NHS services (is this allowed??) Have been advised that whilst they are not taking anyone off the books, we should look for an alternative dentist should we wish to do so. Well, I'm not sure how to do that when all local dentists are not taking on anymore NHS patients!!

I have now had 3 appointments cancelled meaning my son has not seen a dentist for 2 years now, and can't call them until end of March and then there will be a 3 month wait. Always the same thing, lack of available dentists. If they are unable to retain their staff, maybe they need to look into the company culture, as happy staff do not leave. I have not seen the same dentist twice in the 10 years I have been with them. Glad I don't pay for Private Bupa Heath Care if this is how they run their business!
