On the day I attended the receptionists who served me were warm, friendly, professional and helpful. The reception are and the waiting room are clean and bright, although unfortunately one window is completely boarded up and the entrance door had been smashed and is held together with some kind of plastic. When I went into the dentist's room I explained to the dentist that I am extremely anxious of dentists and had taken a mild sedative. Unfortunately the dentist didn't even acknowledge this. Whilst the dentist was professional and pleasant they made no effort to reassure me or to make the process easier for me. I did feel as though they wanted to get me out of there as soon as they could. This is a shame because previous dentists I have seen there have always done their best to reassure and calm me. I have to wait until the end of December to get a filling, but I know how absolutely stretched and under pressure they are to accommodate the number of NHS patients they have. That said. I know I am very fortunate indeed to have an NHS place with a dentist and for that I am thankful.
