Once you get to see dentist here they are great. But I have had last 3 appointments cancelled at short notice including those of my children. Then when you want to rebook we wait 18 months, then it’s cancelled again = I won’t see dentist for over 3 years. Which is bad for me. But unacceptable for growing children

We are sorry we have to keep cancelling appointments. We are struggling to fit NHS patients in due to NHS dentist vacancies, we are trying to recruit and ask you to bear with.

Great appointment with my hygienist today, thorough and gentle. The practice is always excellent, my dentist is fabulous and I can't recommend them all highly enough!

I am a very nervous patient this practice put me at ease right from the receptionist to going into the dentist they were absolutely brilliant best dentist I have ever seen thank you so much

I had two issues attended too just prior to Christmas & prior to going on holiday but despite a number of prviously cancelled / rearranged appointments I must say the service on the day was excellent. However following the procedures one of my teeth was giving me a lot of pain despite it being repaired & I felt maybe there may have been a issue with the work carried out. I cannot eat on one side or drink cold drinks at the moment & the pain was uncomfortable throughout christmas. Upon my return from my holiday I immediatly rang the surgery to explain the issue and request an appointment to be told (despite being uncomfortable with pain) that it would be two months before I could book an appointment. I questioned this & was told that I could call at 8.30am every day on a day when not orking to see if there was an appointment I could take! - Unfortunately I dont have many days during the week I dont work unless on planned annual leave and the time before I had my previous appointment I had taken a days leave for my appointment only to be cancelled 17 minutes before my alloted time by the surgery! I also work over 50 miles from home and not ble to just pop in at the drop of a hat if an appointment was cancelled that I could accept! I felt the tone from the reception was lacking Empathy for the patient & was lacking in acceptance that there may have been a mistake with the work conducted at my last visit. I guess I will have to put up with the pain throughout my next holiday in January and suffer the same discomfort I had over the Christmas period. A somewhat disapointing experience especially as my wife who is a private patient does not have such experiences when dealing with this surgey

I cannot recommend this practice highly enough, with superb service and care. I had been referred by my own dentist who was unable to complete treatment relating to an extraction. I was offered an appointment promptly, and the dentist and staff made me feel comfortable and assured Completing the procedure in 20 minutes. Thank you so much for providing such an excellent service.

in june 2022 i visited this dentist because two of my teeth had broken and i was in pain. The dentist said i need work done asap and to make an appointment with the receptionist. But no! the boy on reception said i couldn't have an appointment until January next year. 7 months waiting with two broken teeth and in pain.When questioning this the receptionist just shrugged and said 'that's the nhs for you'.You wouldn't have to wait at all if you are a private patient! disgraceful.
