Waste of time , already spent over a month trying to contact them , unable to go down after work as they are shut but then again that why the telephone was invented, Looking elsewhere very very poor service.

Sat on the phone now 16 minutes and still no answer!!! This isn't the first time either. as soon as I can move dentists, I'm off

Great dentist, but you wont be able to get an appointment as they never answer the phone! Tried several times to call, only to see the line is busy or the call sits in a queue, sometimes for over 25 mins (and then it disconnects) Is going onto the reception the only way to get an appointment? Poor performance

Received text telling me to book appointment for a check up, but I still haven't been able to get through on the phone, despite repeated attempts on different days/times. This happens every time. I don't know if this is down to reception or the phone system, but it's pretty poor. How are you supposed to make appointments if they don't pick up the phone? It's automated, you go on hold and eventually either give up (after 25 mins last time) or are cut off. You can't book appointments (even just for check ups) online so the only option is to go in person. The Dentist I see is excellent so it's a shame that the practice is let down in such a basic but significant way.

I wish I could post a print screen this morning. I've been trying to get in touch with Ashgate Dental practice and since 9am have attempted to ring due to a filling they put in yesterday has partly fell out. I even left my phone on continuous redial. It's now 398 calls. Don't tell me they've been on the phone all that time!! Disgusting

Been coming here for 20+ years and the dentists and receptionists are lovely and caring and I cannot fault them. However … they don’t pick up the phone when you try to book. I’ve let it ring for 5 minutes 12 times today yet when you go in they are never over busy. What is wrong with the phones ??

I received a message from Ashgate Dental Practice to ring to book my routine check up. On ringing 6 times the line was always engaged. Tried to ring again today 30/11/23 only to be on hold for a total of 8m (2×4 mins waiting for answer) then cut off. The service provided by reception regarding the phones is diabolical! I will be looking for another dentist

I've been going to this practice for years, and had excellent service but since it's changed hands this last time I have to say its all downhill. I walked in to the manager speaking to an elderly gentleman in the most rude and inappropriate way. Very upsetting and unprofessional. My hygiene appointment was the most uncomfortable I've ever had. He hardly spoke, didn't introduce himself and did nothing to put me at ease. The receptionist on leaving didn't seem bothered or interested and had was just vacant. I'll be finding a new dentist for the future.
