    Be aware that although says taking in new NHS patients, there is 2y waiting list so you will have to wait or pay for private treatment

    Dear Sir / Madam, sorry to read your complaint. Yes 543 is taking new patients and putting them on a waiting list. The current wait on the waiting list is approximately 18 months. New patients on the waiting list, are being taken from the waiting list on a daily basis and are being given appointments. The practice is working a full capacity.     NHS 111, gave me telephone number and showed me how to access dental practices currently taking on new NHS patients and providing urgent NHS 111 Dental Services. 5th Aug 2022 the reception at this dentist just said they are not taking on new NHS patients but when I challenged this she said we are but there is a two year waiting list for new NHS patients. And they only provide urgent detal care to their own patients. She blamed the NHS for the misinformation.

    Dear Sir, 543 Dental Centre is taking new NHS patients both children and adults. 543 has an NHS waiting list of just over 4,500 patients. Each month 543 takes 200 new patients of this waiting list with priority given to children, which is an NHS directive. The waiting list forms part of a programme called flexible commissioning. I am sorry if you are waiting but patient demand is currently outstripping capacity. We are working through the waiting list as quick as possible.
