  1. Review titled Absolutely pointless

The Healthy Minds service is absolutely pointless, nobody cares about your well-being in the slightest, it is merely a box ticking exercise for the NHS. They couldn’t care less if you have mental health issues or not. No wonder men find it difficult to talk when you get this kind of response and treatment.

  2. Review titled "Can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear "

Couldn't agree more with the previous review. Absolutely dreadful service ,"practitioners are disinterested and bored. Have no insight ironically in to mental health. At times I felt my sessions boarded on being "passive aggressive " I feel they didn't want be there resented the other people on the end of the phone. I feel worse after my sessions and demoralised. It is incredibly sad to think this is all that is on offer.

  3. Review titled As much use as a chocolate fireguard

Attempted to use this service twice. First time, had a phone call “Hi, are you free to talk?” “Not at the moment” I said. Discharged! Managed to get another phone appointment years later, this time I was free to use the phone. The amount of “On the scale of 1 to 10” type questions they ask you are ridiculous, you should be able to answer how you feel like answering, with words, not with a poxy number! Anyways, I was offered to be put on a waiting list for CBT (which doesn’t work on me) or counselling, so I asked to put on a waiting list for Counselling. The waiting list is 18 months long, which is a take in the mick itself! I was offered some online workshops, which I can’t access due to not having a computer with a webcam. I’ve been to face-to-face workshops with this service before and pretty much it’s just someone teaching you how to breathe, something I already know how to do! But they don’t even offer these anymore! If simple breathing exercises prevented suicidal thoughts, there would be no such thing as suicidal thoughts! I’m certain that probably I’ll end up being discharged by this pathetic service again, or gaslit by the so-called “counsellor,” but only time will tell.
