Most receptionists at this practice are very helpful. Therefore it was noticeable that the person I spoke to today had little or no interest in finding a solution for me. Indeed if I had been a person lacking in confidence she would have let me leave the call without even knowing how to solve my problem. I pressed on even though, she was reluctant to answer my questions about how to speak with the person who I think could help. It will now take me 12 days before I can get a solution to my problem via my GP.(and still not guaranteed to speak to him - so the receptionist explained). She was careful to give me accurate information but there was no sense of her trying to help me. I thought this type of doctors receptionist attitude was in the past but not at Toft Road Surgery it seems.
